In most sports, the right method of recovery is decisive for winning or losing. More and more competitions and games in ever shorter sequences are very demanding for the athletes’ bodies. Today, most of the athletes/players etc. hold the opinion that not the best man/woman or team will win but the one who remains longest without injuries.

In a comprehensive study headed by the University of Saarbrücken, several recovery methods were tested for their effectiveness. The result: Cooling is one of the few methods to obtain best effects in recovery.
The time needed for recovery is reduced and micro-injuries are already avoided before they grow into serious injuries.
Thus, the sportsman/woman recovers quicker and tends to remain injury free. Success near to guaranteed.
Fast recovery with IdeniXx
As already demonstrated by the study of the University of Münster, cooling in breaks, i.e. a kind of short-term recovery is very effective. The lactate values determined by the study where cooling had been successfully applied during the 1-hour run at 30 ° C, were significantly better after the run and 5 minutes later and decreased much faster. In contrast, lactate levels stagnated without cooling, they even rose.
Therefore, a further test was carried out at the Olympic Training Center with medical assistance. Two female top winter sports athletes tested again cooling with Idenixx on the cycle ergometer at different impacts. Again, the results were clear.
